"Ordered a takeaway from here and it was fabulous. Not at all greasy, lovely quality chicken and really delicious peri sauce. Take away is usually unhealthy, thank goodness for Mama's Pitta because now I can order in and still eat well."

"As mentioned by a previous reviewer, the staff are the best part of this disappointing experience. We were returning after a number of years and this restaurant is clearly not what it was. On the plus side we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff but it went downhill from there. There was no menu for the lunchtime offer so we had to keep asking staff what it was and what was included. In the end we didn’t much fancy a pudding anyway. The meal was just about OK and nothing more."

"Stayed here Monday to friday on work buisness and found it okay. Bed was abit too hard. The couple in the room next to me was arguing until 3am every morning! They was also smoking in the room as you was able to smell smoke...as soon as left the room. Walls are very thin. Very good shower, very powerful. Shame restaurant was closed for refurbish but cant be helped. I would probably return again and ask for a different side of hotel"

"Love this place! funky decor, really friendly staff and wonderful eating. I loved the small sitting area near the ice garden and the American Diner booth. they also make cocktails and milkshakes with a lot of different chocolates. the burgers are really excellent and the knickerbocker was delicious."

"Interested to hear about the healthy fruit smoothies. Ordered a banana, strawberry and orange. Watched the preparation. Basically it’s one banana. The strawberry and orange flavours are just carton juices. £4.35. That is not a smoothie at all. Very disappointed."
