I'm so glad that we finally tried this place. We plan to return again in the future! We were very happy with the food, service, and the prices. We dined outside on their deck. The summer weather was nice, but the neighborhood traffic was a little too loud.Kid-friendliness: I would not bring young children here. It is more of an old fashion adult super club/mom and pop steak house.Parking: Off street, on-site parking View all feedback.

Very disappointed the fish fry was not even close to what it normally is. Service very slow. Very busy but quality very bad. Potota pancakes were burned over cooked. Fish was over cooked. No rye bread very little no tartar sauce. Coleslaw was in a tartar sauce container. The food was not good for the price. $21.00 for 3 pieces of dry fish and 2 burned potato pancakes no bread no tartar and a little coleslaw is not a deal. I won't mind paying that much but the food was really badParking: Not good street parking bad. Parking lot small
Decided to give them a second try. Our first experience included an inedible fish fry, mediocre drinks and very slow service. After seeing recent reviews , we decided to see if it improved. Unfortunately, it hasn’t. The old fashioned was not good. Too much simple syrup and not enough bitters. We ordered filets. One came out overcooked and another was undercooked, and the one roll served with each steak was ice cold.We could not send them back as the server never returned. It was her first shift there as she normally works at their other bar location. The main complaint is the nickel and diming. There is an up charge for any type of potato instead of fries. I ordered a baked potato and my husband had lyonnaise potatoes for an extra $3. The server asked if I wanted butter and sour cream. I said yes. When we received the bill, I was charged 50 cents extra for each. It is not about the $1 but what steak house charges extra for butter and sour cream in a baked potato?We were hoping this could be our new local go to place but it is not.
We have been to Henry Flach many times. This time was not the greatest. We brought our friends along, raving about the place. We all ordered a 3 piece breaded cod. It came very deep fried, fish was a dry and the breading we peeled off and left on the plate, not much better on the potato pancakes. Not coming back for fish any time soon. Your steak dinners are great, just to end on a happy note.
Great place for a steak, nice atmosphere and service. Drinks ? were awesome as well, thx for the nice night.Food: 5/5
