"Not So Prime After All. A friend took us to Wards for dinner Saturday night. I was looking forward to a carnivore delight. What I got was a local diner quality dinner. The positives were many. Nice place, great decor, atmosphere is warm and friendly. The service was excellent from start to finish. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre, at best. I ordered the 16 oz Prime Rib medium rare. It was medium rare, but was by no means Prime. The meat was a low end Choice cut, not aged at all. Straight from the crack wrap to the oven. The meat was actually difficult to cut with a serrated steak knife. Mom's old admonition to chew 20 times was strictly enforced by the meat itself. $30 for...read more"

"Family Owned and Operated and it shows! We were greeted and seated by one of the owners and you see them actively involved throughout the restaurant. Great service from the waiters waitresses as well! Definitely a classic dinner with solid breakfast options for anyone. The food came out conveniently quick and was definitely delicious. Pictured is the meat lover's skillet the stuffed french toast."
