Our first attempt to eat here was doomed to failure : no food available on Tuesdays . Such a shame ; our taxi driver had given it a good write up . However on the following night were able to enjoy some interesting bar snacks , and drinks , not unfortunately outside on the river bank . It wasn't the weather for that . clean and modern bar however extremely over priced for £7 a pint! The bar staff were so great and friendly (joe was amazing and so great). Sadly I am unlikely to come here again as there are very similar pubs in Newbury at half the price for the same quality. View all feedback.
