I've been going to abbey for years. at the beginning they served the best fishing and chips to meile. in the best year it is on the hill. I think that the oil they use, how changed, leaves the fish almost tasteless. the last fish and chips I had from them had a green tone. the dough was boiled and looked like a paper paste. What a fantastic discovery! We arrived a bit late, but the staff were incredibly accommodating and cooked our fish and chips from scratch while we waited. Well, we were actually sent to the pub for a quick drink while they prepared our meal! I highly recommend Digby Tap and will definitely be returning. This restaurant deserves a solid 5-star rating.
Wow, I really enjoyed the cod and chips at this restaurant. It was fabulous! The portion size was huge and the value was fantastic.
