"Last night was my second time eating at Avert and it was SO good I had to share! The first visit we sat in the dining room and it was nice and cozy, our waitress was friendly and attentive. Cocktails were delicious and we ordered the salmon dip, OMG... the beef bourguignon and duck that came with couscous. The beef bourguignon was amazingly tender and just perfectly cooked and was probably the dish that made us decide to come back again last night. Isla was our server, super bubbly and friendly and attentive. We tried different cocktails this time, and the beef tartar. I know beef tartar isn't for everyone, but I happen to love it and try it everywhere I go.. that being said this one was one of the best I've had. We ordered the schnitzel and I got the duck again, this time served with a butternut squash puree. AMAZING. Easily the best duck dish I've ever had. I literally could go back every week and eat that dish again it was that good. I only discovered this restaurant several months ago but it has easily become one of my favorites and I look forward to coming back and trying everything else on the menu!"

"It was quite the culinary experience. I had the duck and Timothy had to crispy chicken and I can't say there was a thing wrong with the food or the service. We were seated properly,the food was brought out on time. Price is a little on the higher side but certainly worth every penny."
