Behold the gorgeous hanging plants and the lush and welcoming entryway. 40 Love is quite literally an oasis in this section of La Cienega and today it served us well. The host at the front was absolutely wonderful, so gracious and helpful. We adored the beautiful patio space as we enjoyed some beverages. Perfect respite on a busy and hot day. read more.

What Christina B doesn't like about 40 Love:
This establishment has roaches. I was assaulted by a large flying cockroach while dining at this location. Not only was I hit by this disgusting pest but it also crawled on our table and booth. They did nothing to right the wrong of the situation by comping our meal which was rightfully due so but only offered to box our remaining meal which had been tainted by said roach. I am deeply disheartened by this experience. read more.
