This is a nice little place with good drinks. Service was fast and the guy working the counter was very friendly. Parking: Parking is a bit wonky as it’s hard to turn around if you park in a space deeper into the lot, this place is popular for a reason so the lot can fill up on a weekend morning. What Sam M S doesn't like about Honeybee Coffee Co.:
This place used to be good. Went here not realizing the owners had changed. Someone's kid was behind the counter (10 years old or so) and took our order. Our ice coffees were just hot coffee poured over a little ice so it melted right away and just became a cup of tepid, watered down coffee. I miss the old honeybee. View all feedback.
In the past honeybee has always been a wonderful neighborhood coffee shop that I would rate for five stars. However, management has recently changed and it has been completely sold out for the worst. All the old employees have been fired or quit, and treatment from the top down is really horrible. Find a different coffee shop around like South Press or Old City Java if you can, hopefully everything will shake out with honeybee and it becomes a good place again. When it does, I’ll revise this review! Update: things are in motion to regain the shop! Good news!
Terribly managed establishment, alleged homophobic owner who doesn’t pay employees
The coffee is not good, the customer service is terrible, and the owner is a terrible person. He’s being sued in Florida for a business’s scandal, has fired every person who has worked here since they opened, is threatening to not pay them, and is now sending out mass texts blowing up people’s phone with “discounts/rewards” because he’s so desperate for money.
Zero stars. owner makes employees leave fake reviews. @cam smith
Please either update your hours or don't close by just hanging asignon the door.
