"Sushi Don used to be one of my favorite sushi restaurants in town, then Covid happened. They then took away most of the indoor seating, and had coolers where you can choose what you wanted. Quality was not great, but not horrible. I went in the other day, it’s back to dine in. I was so disappointed in the quality of my rolls. The rice on the rolls was completely over cooked, and the rolls were mediocre at best. The service is different now as well, you take your menu to your table then go back to the front to order. I’m not sure if this is due to lack of staff, or convenience for them. There were several patrons who seemed confused by this, not just me. I hope they can get back to the quality of sushi I loved, but I won’t be returning for now."

"This place was really good in the past. ordered two large ice-dripping scales and a large hot and soup soup also the general tso chicken. it was all evil. no taste, the hot and acidic suppe tasted as if something was rotten in it. the general tso huhn was gummy and tasteless. there was 0 effort in this food. not back."

"Maru is our go to place for sushi. It has the best service and best service. The servers are extremely attentive and fast. Takeout is also just as amazing. When you dine in, miso soup comes with your sushi, but make sure to order it for carry out. I love their miso soup. They are also wonderful with gluten allergies. We typically tell them to just box the gluten free order separately and we have never had a problem. They even include GF soy sauce. I highly recommend Maru as the best place in town for sushi.
