What Carmen Clark doesn't like about The Wayfarer:
family members sat for birthday celebrations . We had festive menu priced at around pound per person , food was cold over cooked dry and was the worst we have tasted first time here and last was sat down for hours and...spent pound definitely not reccomended View all feedback. What lyndseyb936 likes about The Wayfarer:
I had a great experience at this charming and cozy pub. The food was delicious, especially the nacho chicken burger I ordered. When my children requested steak, the waitress was kind enough to ask the chef if they could have a smaller portion as a children's meal, which they happily agreed to. The desserts were also excellent. View all feedback.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch at the Wayfarer. Always excellent quality and friendly service. The beef was lovely and tender. We will be back soon.

The overall consensus on Wayfarer restaurant is mixed. Some guests expressed disappointment with the lack of creativity in the menu and the slow service, while others praised the experience, service, and food quality. The Sunday Lunch and Friday Pie Night were particularly highlighted as positive experiences. However, some issues such as dry steaks and slow service were mentioned. Despite this, the visit of Santa Claus during Christmas was highly recommended for families. Overall, the Wayfarer restaurant offers good food and service, but there are inconsistencies that may affect the overall dining experience.
