"Absolutely beautiful food! This is my third time eating here and I have tried a variety of food. The staff are kind and very prompt with the food. I highly recommend filling up on the bread as it’s delicious and then getting 4 dishes for two people. I highly recommend. There is a car park at the restaurant too which makes it easy and a short walk to the cathedral."

"We found out the landlady of the cherry tree inn at Willingham wouldn't mind if we parked our motorhome in the pubs large car park and only 3 miles on the local bus to Lincoln Christmas market. We spent 3 nights there and enjoyed drinks in the bar where the locals made us very welcome. On the Friday morning Angela (who works behind the bar her husband Steve very kindly offered to give us a lift in his car to Lincoln . Everyone was so freindly. We booked in for Sunday lunch where we met landlady Kay who had also cooked the food, and it was excellent, the meat was so tasty and tender. The pub itself is immaculately clean and inviting, we are already planning our next trip."

"Best Sunday roast in the area! We moved to Lincolnshire from south only 7 months ago and tried many places in the area for good Sunday roast. The food is beautiful quality and absolutely delicious (and my partner can be quite fussy about his beef) , reasonably priced, the staff and owners very lovely and attentive plus place is cozy. We also tried variety of other meals and every singled one of them was delicious"

"Fantastic!!!! Me and my husband came for Sunday lunch and we pigged our on a 3 course meal. My starter was basic but the main meal and pudding was to die for . The staff are super friendly and accommodating. This is the second time...we have had a Sunday dinner here and it is the best one in Lincoln by far."

"We have used the Csrpenters for years, having family get togethers and our 70th birthday parties there, it has always been our favourite. However, today we went for Sunday lunch and the meal was poor. Very little meat and vegetables were in short supply, so we were very disappointed, particularly because we were celebrating our guests 100th birthday. We had sung the Carpenters praises for a long time, but today they let us down Price per person: £20–30"
