"We stumbled upon The Pakora Bar one snowy Saturday afternoon before catching our train home and it did not disappoint. The staff were very welcoming and extremely helpful with food recommendations. More importantly, the food was AMAZING, very well priced and the restaurant had a lively atmosphere. You can tell how passionate this family-run business is. Perfectly located for anyone near the train station. What a gem!"

"Many claim to have ‘gourmet’ fast food Polentoni DOES! I am an Italian who has lived in Edinburgh for 20 years and Polentoni is possibly the only place where I have found authentic italian flavours. Franco is really knowledgeable and passionate about gastronomy and always keeps the offering interesting and varied by introducing regional specialities to his Scottish customers.
