"I have been reading the reviews about Casci's and must say the people writing negative reviews are talking absolutely rubbish. Gaynor and Chris are excellent hosts always got time for a chat and the food is always very tasty. My grandchildren love going to Casci's cafe they wouldn't go anywhere else."

When I came up with a baby, I was told that we cannot have one of several empty tables, because it is “policy to serve or rather its policy is that mothers should confine themselves to their own houses!? "Stopped in for brunch on a Thursday early noon after a quick scout on TripAdvisor for places to eat on Morningside Road. A bustling cafe with stripped back wooden tables contrasting against rather elaborate metal light fittings and a mismatch of metal or simple cotton fabric covered chairs, we were luckily shown to the last available table in the back room. The cafe appears small from the outside but is actually deceptively big. Music was easygoing chill out which added to the relaxed atmosphere. Smiling waitresses helped also. "Every trip to Edinburgh is a waste if you do not stop here. It's such a great little restaurant for lunch. Personal favorite of me is the jerk chicken slaughter and if you want spicy food that some of the hot sauce go with. The hot sauce seems to turn as the first one I had was very spicy peanut sauce and the last was Hibiscus chili sauce, but they are always great. The part of the baklava is very generous and great with a cup of tea or coffee. The gentleman who leads this place is very nice and welcoming Can not wait for my next visit"

"Came through for a visit to Kinneil House and Bo'ness for the day from Edinburgh and came in for a sit down Tea.
