"The food was unseasoned and bland. Extremely over priced and not the experience I expected from a live band. The lamb chops were just ok. The shrimp tacos were bad. The gumbo had a funny after taste and strong tomato based soup. The house salad was good but can you really mess up a salad? The braised pork was good. The grits were thick almost like mashed potatoes if you like them like that. The drinks were good and strong though. There was a $5 cover charge no one mentioned before hand. Also, there was gratuity already added to the check and was not informed of that either. The waiter seemed like he didnât wanna be there. Not even a smirk/smile the entire time. I expected a better experience and better food for $150 tab!"

"A lot of the ingredients were missing from the subs. I was especially disappointed not to have the cheese on either of them. Ive had them better but I think the steak meat is different than what it used to be. Hopefully it will get better. Thanks!!"

"Good food and drink in an amazing outdoor space. Really, really cool. I was skeptical after being charged $10 cover at the door (in the parking lot), but the band was decent and the rest of the experience made it worth more than that."

"Not the best thing I ever had and did not definitiw the worst. I got the brisket plate and thought they took me in discs. very thin discs with not much taste. the woman was pulled pork and it was dry. and mac-n cheese were moderate. the sauces were good. we came for a late lunch so that the line wasn't long, but eating came fast. many seats and a large selection of local beers!"

"I had a wonderful meal tonight. I have truly enjoyed every meal I have ever had here. Tonight, I had the Oxtails prepared of course Jamaican-style. Very delicious. I enjoyed Red Stripe beer with my meal, and it was made even more delicious by being served in an ice-cold glass. The Jama Jama is excellent. The Callilou is a delicious vegetable that I doubt you can find elsewhere in Memphis. The rice and peas is always delicious. I have had the Fish Stew in the past. Very delicious. Our waitress was womderful. Very nice and provided what was just the right amount of attentiveness. I want to try more of the dishes. I know I won’t be disappointed. I know everything will be delicious. I also like the comfortable ambience of Evelyn and Olive. Philip"

"Remember Cheers? This is the Memphis version. Regulars have their own mug and kibitz at the bar. Bosco's had 25th Anniversary a few years back, so they have been doing this awhile. Mug is in pic. Craft beer, good food. Bosco's has a sampler. That may be the place to start, but if you just want to get it on I like Flaming Stone ale any time or seasonal Hefeweizen wheat beer. Pizza from the brick oven is a sure thing. Across the street is Lafayette's Music Room So, basically across the street from each other you have the best of Memphis! Cheers!"

"There have been a number of iterations of Venezuela restaurants in Memphis. This place was also a Columbia mix. I wanted a little bit of everything. I got the sampler and it was simply amazing. I spent $65 here JUST SO I could have food for the next day. I got two large brunette aerapas to go and it was so worth the $10 price tag for the large one. Very fair prices. My only disappointment, as a child in my soul, was that they did NOT have Chicha which I was really hoping they would have. I would’ve paid anything for some, seriously. Lol"
