What Robert Oxley likes about Burly's California Bistro:
Food was delicious!! The wait staff was very friendly, they were there when you needed them but I never felt rushed or interrupted while enjoying time with my family. The atmosphere is laid back, with hometown vibe. The brownie with ice cream on top was phenomenal and fresh.Wheelchair accessibility: The parking lot had a small slope to it that made me a little nervous for my mom, but she said it was fine. Food was excellent! Service was good UNTIL presented with check, and with no warning, the gratuity of 25% was automatically added because we asked that the check be split between two couples. When asked they blamed their computer program and said it was disclosed, I'm sure in small writing, on the menu. Just not a very nice way to treat customers. Probably won't go back. Great food and attentive service. A little pricey for my pocket book, but worth it for special occasions.
My inlaws hosted mine and my husband's rehearsal dinner here. The room was amazing, as was the food and desert. Staff was just awesome! We totally recommend!!!
