The Cinnamon Stick - West Oxfordshire

I had an amazing lunch at this restaurant. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. We sat in the lovely outdoor lounge which had a beautiful setting.

I’m not quite sure how this place has got the positive reviews it has. Aside from the polite young waiter all we experienced was overpriced, poorly cooked presented Middle Eastern food. My chicken shawarma looked like it had never seen a griddle or flame….it was pale, grisly wet. The environment is grubby, make shift not very welcoming at all. There are a few good Middle Eastern restaurants within a 10 mile radius of this one….I’d suggest trying them instead.

What a fantastic experience dining at the cinnamon stick. The food was amazing so delicious very friendly staff and wonderful ambience. The Lebanese red wine was so good.

We discovered a fantastic restaurant in Middle Barton called The Cinnamon Stick. The service, food, and hospitality were all top-notch and exceeded our expectations. From the moment we contacted them to make a reservation for our large group, to the end of the evening when we said our goodbyes, everything was exceptional. They were very accommodating and attentive, and the personalized menu they created for our group was delicious. We enjoyed trying different dishes, from hummus to kofte to moussaka to fresh salads, each one was a delight. Despite having a mix of dietary restrictions within our group, including vegetarians, gluten-free, and picky eaters, they managed to cater to everyone. The baklava they served for dessert was a highlight, and we couldn't get enough of it. We felt truly spoiled by their generosity. Everyone in our group has already expressed their desire to return, and I personally can't wait to go back soon. The Cinnamon Stick is a Middle Eastern gem that definitely lives up to its promise. We visited this restaurant for Sunday lunch and had a fantastic dining experience. The food was excellent, especially the chef's recommended meze and additional dishes we ordered. All of our main courses, including three chicken dishes and lamb chops, were delicious. The service was attentive and Khalid, our server, was very friendly. Chef Ali did a great job in the kitchen. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future.
