We stayed here for one night while hiking the Thames Path, and we really enjoyed it. It is a really charming place. The room was so nice and clean and really romantic. The staff here is friendly, but they seemed a bit stressed out with many guests. The dinner was really good. Turned up on a Tuesday lunchtime looking for a drink while walking the Thames Path. Pub looked fabulous. The main door clicked shut and was locked as we approached. Told at the side door to the bar that they were shut until 3 and that a pint and a glass of wine was not possible. Thought rural pubs were struggling and might be keen for custom.
