The most authentic Hispanic food in the area. It is not unusual and absolutely a local family experience. I met the most charming little girl who explains the different articles in my plate. Coconut. Shrimps, cucumbers, bananas and much more. I'd probably come back. They serve handmade ice cream and a wide range of traditional deserts together with many fish dishes only at this point. It is worth the time and effort to find this place. The seafood is fresh and fresh from Mexico. The chef comes from the Gulf of Mexico, so he really understands seafood. we tried two different dishes and loved them both. I would highly recommend it and I will be back.
Best seafood in SLC the only place I go for seafood.
Love this place! It's inside the indoor swap meet in west valley across the street from harmons 3500 s. Keep in mind it's not a fancy place, if you don't like The loud music then come during The week or get your food to go. The flavors are amazing! The shrimp ceviche and the cocktail shrimp are my favorites. The amounts are generous and full of flavor. If you've been dying to find a real good Mexican cocktail shrimp or shrimp ceviche. This is the place! Definitely a hidden gem!
This place is hidden in the back of a very large bazaar of Latino shops. When you get to the back,it's really a food court with two stages for live music, and similar. Mariscos is separated out from the others. The physical separation probably has to exist because of Utah's liquor laws. It's also the only place with table service.
