What C R doesn't like about C.c. Violin Patisserie Café:
CC Violin tried to scam my friend. She bought an 8in chocolate mousse cake and they gave her a leftover mother 's day cake (I use the term cake loosely because it was the size of a pastry and nowhere near an 8 inch cake) and they tried to gaslight her, saying that almost $70 was a great price for the mothers day cake /pastry. Fantastic patisserie tucked into a corner of west Van — just discovered, and we’ll certainly be back! Ordered tea, coffee, a sandwich and various baked goods…their scones were the best I’ve ever had and the fruit galette was beautiful and tasty. Service was great and we couldn’t recommend this place more!
CC Violin is a really lovely place and I would recommend it to many who love coffee and something sweet to eat! They also have amazing sandwiches. Not too noisy and the owners are very kind.
We ordered a cake. The cake quality seems pretty good but I hope the staff here can better their service by speaking more politely to their customers.
