Actually, we were very disappointed. We expected more from the reputation of The Weekapaug Inn . To put it quite simply, we felt ignored. We were not greeted, the host was dismissive and seemed incompetent. In observing other guests, this seemed to be a common feeling. Once we were seated things were better. The brasserie was the perfect place to celebrate our wedding anniversary. the gentle lighting gives the environment a charming, elegant casual feeling. our food was prepared and served with elegance. the staff of the inn were friendly and engaged while maintaining a respectful feeling of the peculiar. we first felt warm welcome and hope very soon.
While eating delicious and the service was attentive, the price for the “Meal” was exorbitant. everything is a la carte and only the escape was $34! for a piece of fish with sauce? 3 scallops a couple dribbel? yikes! and drinks were charged over $23! Watch them here on their bill! they notice that they fight to hire employees, but with these trips I would suggest to increase their maintainers to win more employees. very disappointing and not what I expected from a ocean house sister establishment
