Bereits beim Betreten denkt man, dass das hier nicht in Westerstede/ Felde sein bzw. stehen kann. Aber doch! Im Restaurant wird man von freundlichen Bedienungen empfangen und an den Tisch begleitet.Wir bestellten Kaffee und Kuchen. Der Kaffee ist sehr schmackhaft, aber der Kuchen ist, gelinde gesagt, nicht der "burner"! Hier wünschten wir uns eine sichtbare Auslage und nicht nur das Aufzählen der verschiedenen Kuchen... Wer seine Hochzeit anspruchsvoll und mit einem persönlichen Touch gestalten will ist hier Fehl am Platz. Schon beim ersten Gespräch waren die "Standardfragen" zu Deko, Essen und Umgebung zu viel, wurden unfreundlich abgewiesen und am Ende wurden wir einfach stehen gelassen mit den Worten "dann können wir es ja gleich lassen". Very creative and seasonal cuisine. Especially the day when fishing receptions are exceptional and look around your same. We like to come back
We accidentally passed the beautiful castle restaurant and got the last free table assigned by a very friendly staff at noon. We chose the 3-course-day menu, consisting of pasta of rabbits with green pepper and mushrooms, rhkeule and day dessert. We could have had a higher share if we had thought about it early. So we ate all the courses completely because it was good food. Huge and hot served, beautifully prepared for the eye, tastefully perfect, cooked to the point and presented by attentive staff. The red wine was a bit too warm but of excellent quality, as well as the local herbal liqueur as a digestive tract. The rabbit cake was tastefully perfectly matched to each other, the enclosed field salad prepared with matching dressing. Also the tasty rhomb was provided with a finely tuned sauce, the meat butterfly, the plug-in beet/ pumpkin vegetables not too soft or too hard and the semmelknödel suitable for the ensemble. The Day Dessert was the last dream of ice, mousse and various small taste subcoats. Conclusion: Great praise for a tastefully unique experience in excellent ambience and exemplary service. It was not cheap, but reasonable in its price/performance ratio.
Family celebration with 14 people, diamond wedding. Order menu. The asparagus cream soup was a broth with half-gar asparagus as an insert. The infallible salad was probably at least. 1 day old and so tasted. The beef rouladen tasted creepy, the poultry came in a strange cut, tastefully also next to it. The crust roast looked so inconspicuous, nobody wanted to eat. The ordered rice never reached the table, the potatoes were probably a convincing product that was opened too long. They had started blue/violet. The croquettes were not baked, the sauces when you should call them a finished product and not edible. You can also say that to warm vegetables. The summit was dessert, ice cream with fresh strawberries. The fact that the service had not had its good day, looking at the quality of the food, is almost too painfully ordered a glass of wine before the soup came to dessert despite the demand. Conclusion: It can hardly be worse. Every snack would have been better. Too bad for my parents that they had to celebrate their wedding day with such a meal. But Schloss Köhlmoor does not have to worry that one of the guests present is coming back. Never again, none of us
Sunday, 25. August 2019 3 p.m. Magnificent weather, after a cycling tour on the terrace we were looking forward to a beautiful ice cream coffee. Unfortunately we were disappointed. The terrace was not served until 17:00. It was also forbidden to consume drinks purchased in the local area on the terrace. I think it's very strange for a place to go!
The food is rather average. TK vegetables and potato products and sauce from the cardboard box were served to us. The usual beverage requests could be met and were as good as possible. Serving a proper gin tonic was more difficult. Service friendly but unfortunately not professional.
