Can not find the best Vietnamese banh mi in OC until I try this banh mi! So so yummy that I from LA drive 45 mins to enjoy this banh mi every week and banana deep fried View all feedback.
What Cat L doesn't like about Banh Mi Cho Cu Bakery:
They still have Buy 2 Get 1 Free sandwiches but my complaint is with the coffee. Asked for a hot coffee and they gave it to me only half filled in the paper cup. I asked them why they gave so little and their excuse was they didn't want the cup to cave.. even though these cups are made for hot beverages? They offered to put ice in it to fill or to dilute it with more water. No thanks, assholes. View all feedback.
My favorite Vietnamese coffee, bbq pork spring rolls and traditional spring rolls, one and only place that makes delicious seasoned and fried shrimp toast with dip, and excellent crispy pork belly Banh Mi.
Get here early. Maybe like before 2. We got here in the evening looking for baguettes and they had run out. They couldn't make you a banh Mi if you wanted to order one.The silver lining is they will sell you bags of small 3-4 inch sections of baguette at a discount. I guess the banh mis have to be a certain size so they have a lot of these leftover pieces. If you're not picky about having a full size baguette, you can enjoy this discount when you come late like me. We took the use mini size pieces to make mini sandwiches at home. I see why they sell out. The bread is nice and buttery.
One of the best Banh mì shop in the Orange county . Good discount when you buy more than two specific banh mi
The bread to meat ratio is so off! Never been to a sandwich shop so stingy with the fillings.
Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon, and they were sold out of many of their items. While that left me with few options, it also assured me that their items are freshly made and don't sit for days. They offer a variety of to-go items on top of their banh mi which are made to order. There is also a variety of desserts including flan and Vietnamese yogurt. I picked up some yogurt, pate chaud, banh bao, and banh cuon. They only take cash which limited what I could buy as well as I didn't happen to have a lot of cash on me. Their parking lot is small and can be busy, but circle if you need to as been come and go frequently.
