we have long been looking forward to review this place after we have seen it on an old local TV show and younger this place is a jewel! amazing products from japan for all their traditional dishes. they also offer sushi and other items in the house. I picked up a nice mochi and nerikiri (frozen as fyi). recommend a visit if they are in the opposite! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Miyamoto Epicerie Japonaise:
Lots of variety of authentic Japanese foods. Few to none labeled in English or French, which makes it tough to find what you're looking for. Staff are lovely, kind people but don't seem to know anything about the products or how to use them. I almost left with arame instead of dashi kombu, but fortunately decided to take a last look for the stuff myself before checking out. On the pricier side, but that's to be expec... Really nice grocery with all authentic Japanese imported items. Also offers freshly made sushi on site, quality is superior compared to many pre-made sushi in town. Friendly staff and service is quick. Lots of fresh ingredient options as well if you decide to cook at home. Highly recommended!
