good basic does what it says on the zinn. had frying on Sunday. good meat and excellent veg, followed by very beautiful chocolate fudge cake with generous help from cream. quick service and very pleasant staff. good atmosphere with many happy families eating there. View all feedback.
I'm waiting for the Chinese takeaway to open. friendly staff, good ales not yet tried to eat. will return. 10 kept yr old son happy with pool table, 2 games for a pound! real pub, no MFI showroom.
Called in to this lovely pub tonight with my family as a spontaneous thing.. lovely welcome and fantastic food! Very helpful as my son is gluten free and the chef was only to pleased to help him, Great place to eat and good prices, thankyou
Sunday evening dinners here are fantastic, and the atmosphere is so welcoming. We really enjoy visiting this local pub!
This restaurant delivers exactly what it promises. I had the roast on Sunday, and the meat was delicious, complemented by excellent vegetables. For dessert, I enjoyed a beautiful chocolate fudge cake served with a generous portion of cream. The service was quick, and the staff was very friendly. The atmosphere was great, with many happy families dining there. Overall, a lovely experience!
The pub has a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. They boast a lovely, spacious garden that gets plenty of sunshine and offers ample seating, which we look forward to enjoying in the summer. While the beer selection was limited (with only Doom Bar and 6X available), the beers themselves had a pleasant aftertaste and were of good quality. I haven't tried the food yet, but my initial visit left me eager to come back for a meal. If there were a wider variety of beers, I would rate it four stars.
