I 'm visiting from the US and staying nearby. I came here for dinner and a drink and was quite happy. For vegetarians the soup of the day is always vegetarian and there are a few good vegetarian options on the standard menu. I had stuffed baked potato jackets with mushrooms and Stilton, along with the soup of the day (carrot coriander). Both were good. Scant few options for vegans, but they do he a spicy black bean b... This is really a place for the drinking, rather than the dining clients. The management here pressed the maximize revenue button, opening up a large space devoid of atmosphere to pack in diners. This is the major failure of a place that used to have a fine ambient. Food is beyond reproach. No fancy haute cuisine here more well tried, thought out options. View all feedback.
