Maybe it was their off days when I went to visit. Sandwiches and salads were not available, only bakery items and beignets. And those beignets were the saddest little beignets I've ever came acrossed in my life. It was just covered in thick layer of sugar powder to conceal the sad state of the wet and deflated beignets underneath. There was no airy puffiness inside or the thin crispy outer layer.
