If you're looking for Vietnamese food in Paris, skip this place and find somewhere elseTiny portion and most expensive Viet food.

For my last meal in Paris, I wanted something good and I was very satisfied.

"A small group of us were passing through for a conference. We were not there during peak hours so I can't speak for peak-hour service speed, but on off-hours we were seated immediately and served within 20-25 minutes of ordering. I ordered a Big Bird Clubhouse and fries (very good , and Honey Lime Brussel Sprouts (extremely good!! . 10/10 for the brussel sprouts. Would go there again just for those! One person at our table had a question about a sauce and we were expecting the waitress to come back with the answer, but the owner came out to our table personally. Answered all our questions. Seemed to be a very nice man! Portion size was perfect. When first served I had thought the fries looked a little skimpy, but after having eaten it I stand corrected; they were the perfect amount. Coffee size was generous which I much appreciate! Prices are comparable to most sit-down restaurants I've been to recently. Place was clean. Staff was friendly. Service was excellent. I highly recommend!"

"Such a cute and cozy cafe right by the lake!! We attended the Asian Fusion themed dinner on April 21st, and it did not disappoint!! 5 course meal you get 3 appetizers (house made whipped goats milk ricotta with a mango Thai basil honey drizzle and won ton crisps, Malaysian Rasa Dumplings with a sweet chili ginger sauce, and an Indopersian Quinoa Salad), the entree (either Wild Boar, Chicken or Salmon, all came with different sides) and dessert (Callebeaut chocolate ganache pate with fresh raspberries, toasted hazelnut and whipped coconut cream). There was also a drink menu and a huge selection of wines. The appetizers were a small portion, but for good reason!! We were stuffed when it came time to leave, and our meal was delicious. There was a lot of different ingredients on the menu that I would not normally eat (I like to consider myself a very picky eater), but it was a great way to try new things and I enjoyed everything we were given. The themed dinners are over now (until the fall I believe) but I can't wait for them to start up again and see what's on the menu."

"We love the ambiance and the live music at the Eco Cafe. Really, we do. It is one of our favourite places.
But, if you are gluten free it is relatively slim pickings. So far I have tried their GF pork chop-meh, the Bahama Mama ribs-ribs themselves weren't that great but the garlic mashed potatoes and veggies were delish.
Tonight it was time to give the Thai Curry a try. Honestly, don't waste your money on this dish. There was nothing even remotely Thai about it. It tasted like one of those Lean Cusine or Weight Watcher's microwave dinners. There were little to no veggies, no coconut milk from what I could discern, or curry for that matter. It was served with a big serving of plain white rice, and gluten free white bread toast points. Seriously? For that kind of money you would be far better off to stop at Safeway and buy a bottle of Sharwood's Thai Red Curry sauce, a couple organic bell peppers, some green beans, chicken or tofu, healthy brown rice, and cook it yourself. It was bland, boring, and definitely not worth the drive or the money. And, to top it all off, they were out of any gluten free dessert options, which would have been my meal's saving grace. :
On a good note, our server was fantastic, she was extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. My daughter enjoyed her sandwich, and the French fries were fantastic. The organic Natura Cab-Sauvignon from Chile was lovely, and the Peanut Butter Cheesecake was quite good.
We will definitely return, but I will not be wasting our money on the Thai Curry again."

"Thursday, noon. We felt unwilling and like an inconvenience for the employee (possible owner, after reading other reviews). She was rude, told us not to sit down (in an empty restaurant), and then gave us attitude while we looked over the menu until we reached a point where we wanted to eat elsewhere. Please eat somewhere, but here! This is exactly the kind of restaurant that should not be supported. Why do you work there if your goal is to chase customers away?? Service: Dine in Meal Type: Lunch Price per person: CA$20–30"
