The restaurant offers hot and creative dishes, but unfortunately, the portion sizes are small. The service did not meet expectations. The hostess seemed overly friendly, almost too familiar, and the waitress who assisted her did not seem very welcoming. The bill ended up being higher than anticipated. View all feedback.

The menu was excellent as always. However, the service was lacking this time. We were expecting better as we were regular customers. It seemed like the new servers were not as friendly as the usual lady who serves us. Hopefully, the service will improve next time.
We were here on Christmas Day for a family dinner. Good food, nice presentation, very tasty service, cozy interior. Shortly, successful visit!
It is difficult to imagine a more charming place than the buildings that house the Abdijpoort: beyond an old entrance of abbey, a farmhouse, surrounded by douves, and in the back an orchard extending towards the lys. in summer the terrace offers you its quiet country. The reception and service are extremely kind. The cuisine is at the taste of the day, quite classic, with a research in the presentation, more than in the originality of flavors. very good wines at reasonable prices. small flat, the portions, if they are sufficient for normal appetite, may seem light to some.
Nice restaurant. Prize/quality is definitely fine. On the terrace, you get your aperitif. (speaking June) definitely have an eye for non-smokers. You'll see the cook pull the herbs out of his garden. ♪
