I have been a couple of times now and the food is lovely. The let down to all my visits have been the service. Always having to ask for things more than once and waiting periods of unacceptable time for courses. We were there and hour and half just for 1 drink each and a main course at lunch time. What User doesn't like about The Minnow:
We ate outside and were looking forward to a Sunday roast. The pleasant chap serving us was dressed like a tramp, the Yorkshire pudding was cold and the food was served at least 3 minutes before the cutlery. I chose the trio of roasts, but found. th beef to be full of gristle and the pork was almost entirely inedible uncooked fat. I don't know what the chef was thinking. read more.
