"This caffe was absolutely smashed! 2 young girls who serve were very pleasant and very friendly to me and my father, eating was practically perfect! it is a shame that I am 300 miles away so that my return would be unlikely, but I would seriously recommend this caffe to everyone and absolutely all! "I ordered an 18th birthday cake, the giant cupcake with specific instructions on the decoration. I collected the cake and was overwhelmed with complete disappointment at staring at the ugliest cake I've ever seen. It was expensive and the idea was that it would be special, a centrepiece. Clearly, the person making the cake has no artistic ability, it was ugly, my instructions were not followed, it was hard to understand the thinking behind producing a giant cupcake in shades of beige that I can only describe as resembling a large turd. I definitely would not recommend spending money on the giant cupcakes for special occasions, a cheap shop brought cake is a much safer and less expensive option. I did my best to remove the ugly brown biscuits plonked on top of the cake which I had requested were not added but it still looked awful, a few brown chocolates placed on a beige buttercream, with cream writing on the cake base that was so faint, it wasn't worth making the effort of putting it there. Unbelievably bad for the price."

"We found this place by a chance, as we were waiting for our train. But I couldn't be happier, this place was absolutely magical. We had hot chocolates and a tea as we didn't have much time, but everything was delicious. The staff was super friendly. If I haven't lived over 2000kms away from this place, I would be a regular customer for sure."

"My boyfriend had raved about the Rinkha before and how we should go and so yesterday we decided to go so I could try it! The establishment gives the feeling of an old ice cream parlour which I enjoyed and it just feels welcoming. There were about 12 flavours to choose from, all sounding great. I went for the strawberry one and the peaches and cream. Absolutely delicious the both of them! The boyfriend went for honeycomb and chocolate, and the strawberry cheesecake, which once again were really tasty. The prices were more than fair and the ice cream was creamy and really flavourful! We worth it"

"I was due to write this review for a while. We visit Kingston often as we like the town and overall atmosphere. This place is special. For years, we went to other places nearby. We are french Mediterranean and wanted somewhere with proper libanaise food. What makes it so special? The quality of the food of course and the homely welcome. It feels like someone from Liban invited you in their homes. The owner and the whole team are very nice. I can recommend all the dishes without hesitation including the superb tabbouleh… plates are generous and better for us than sandwiches by far. I posted some pics… This place should be easily in the top 10 for Kingston…it deserves far more recognition…but again…not too much…did I say a hidden gem :"
