we decided to try this place today when we know where the cook worked. we were not disappointed to begin beautiful calamari, followed by seafood linguine and hakefilet, both excellent. they wait with workers polite and attentive, but also gave them space and time to enjoy the food. we will definitely return and hope that this new restaurant is successful. Extremely delicious sea food! We booked for a Saturday evening, very last minute and took the last table outside. It was chilly but luckily the table had a heater! We shared mussels to start, then my partner had the Lobster thermidor for his main, whereas I had the chicken and bacon linguine. All meals were a good portion size, very fresh and super tasty. We thought that everything was good value and would definitely visit again hopefully sitting inside next time! The staff were friendly and the service was great. Sometimes when sitting outside you worry if you might get forgotten about but that wasn't the case here. Highly recommend.
Lovely little restaurant with amazing food and service. It's really cosy inside with nice subdued lighting and decor. Food was amazing, we had lobster and sea bass both dishes were fantastic and they accommodated a slight change to one dish. Very attentive service, Mike was great and gave us some helpful suggestions of things to do in the area as we are visiting. Highly recommend this place and will be sure to come again!
Great service with great food altogether. Parking spots outside limited but there is a parking lot about 3 minutes walk away. Seafood platter was great with a good variety of seafood. Surf and turf burger was great too. The chips served along where something special, crispy and well cooked. Crème Brûlée dessert was amazing. Would definitely recommend for seafood if nearby.
When I was planning my trip to Weymouth, I knew I wanted to have a meal at Sea Beats. It's located on the Weymouth Esplanade and is a stone's throw away from the beach. The restaurant's exterior and interior is well decorated and justifies the name Sea Beats. We were seated and served the menu as soon as we entered. The host was friendly and professional. We were served the food soon after we ordered and it was mouthwatering. We had ordered the pan fried sea bass from the menu with canoe chips and garden salad. The items were fresh and prepared perfectly. It's one of the best pan fried sea bass I've had. The fish had crispy skin but the flesh was tender. But what we loved most was the Samphire, which we were told is a salty sea grass. It's very salty itself but it was smartly paired with the mushroom and potatoes and the dish was very wel balanced. It was a lovely experience and we would recommend this to anyone visiting Weymouth.
