visited the pub today afternoon with my fiancé and thought the pub again from the road, so it very quiet environment. the personal is very friendly. when we decided to eat there and although we ordered a light meal, it was nice and well prepared. service was good. we found the place beautiful and clean and we will definitely be back in the near future. What John Crowhurst doesn't like about John Bunyan:
Six of us were planning to visit the pub's beer festival on September 10th but, on discovering that half pints of beer were subjected to a severe price loading, we changed our afternoon social to a different pub. It appears that it is not possible to post a photograph of the chalk board with a sticker saying pints £4.50 and half pints £2.50.
