"We stumbled upon this place on our stop in Pemberton for lunch. It wasn't our first pick but so glad gave it a try. The long line was the first clue that this place was popular and there must be a reason for it. Our kids had the basic mac n cheese and it was great. They have a lot of other flavours of mac. I had the Two Rivers Brisket sand which. One of the best sandwiches I have had. Don't be deterred by the line up. It's worth the wait. Lots of craft beers available as well."

"We started with drinks and I enjoyed their ‘beer farmers’ rose/hibiscus sour but this is where any positive experience ended for me. Appies were fairly flat and tasteless. It felt like they were made by someone without professional cooking experience more ‘homey’ like cooking for kids or a seniors home where tastebuds may not be very discerning. Being my birthday tonight, I hoped the main would be better so asked for a vegetarian recommendations from the impatient waitress, and she begrudgingly recommended a dish called Channa Palau. It was described as having lots of lentils and chickpeas and she tried to upsell some veggie meatballs which were not included with this main. It turned out to be a dish of dry, stale crunchy tasteless rice and a few pieces of burnt onions with barely any other ingredients. It also included a tiny amount of ‘chutney’ which I tried to use to improve the experience, but unfortunately I think they just gave me Doritos salsa. I tried to exchange this $21 bowl of inedible material and was declined and I was forced to pay for it despite it immediately being removed from the table and not replaced with anything. My poor husband tolerated his burger and wilted salad quietly. It had such a large amount of cheap craft dressing and mayo (about a tablespoon and a half of mayo just plopped on top of the burger) to hide the poor quality of ingredients that he had to remove it with a napkin in order to stomach his meal. Speaking of stomach, I am still feeling quite nauseous after eating there 2 hours later and think it’ll be coming out both ends fairly soon, and believe I am suffering a case of bacteria food poisoning. Not worth the risk.Vegetarian options: They have some but they’re not very good"
