What User doesn't like about Jack Astor's Whitby:
Although it was not busy, the staff seemed extremely eager. was quickly risen, but felt that we were only part of a process instead of feeling like a hospitable. server was friendly, but when eating and drinking were discarded, it was literally dropped on the table and the person went away without saying anything. again the server was nice, but just deleted eilte. Lots of gluten free options and all guests were completely satisfied with their meals. Service was outstanding as usual. Never disappointed at Jack Astors Whitby location.
We had three meals. My daughter has the sesame rice bowl chicken. There was about a total of 2oz of chicken cut up in 1/2 inch cubes. And the rest was all rice. Barely any chicken at all. I felt really under pressure with our waitress. She tried to push sales and upsell us on everything! Way too much.
Patio seating was very pleasant shade partial shade and no shade options available New menu offers interesting dishes and flavours Meg our waitress was great
Overall I was very satisfied. But the chicken was too charred and tasted burnt.
