On the other hand, visitors praise the friendly service, delicious dishes like the chicken brie sandwich, and the lively atmosphere with great music. The Tap and Tankard is known for its large space, excellent service, and popular events like buck-a-shuck Fridays. Whether you're looking for a fun night out with friends, a great meal, or a place to celebrate a special occasion, The Tap and Tankard in Whitby has something for everyone.
Scratch-resistant eating, excellent service! we will be back
Great eating and drinks! our servers were fantastic?
Had a great time. server friendly, good eating and great atmosphere!
Our friend recommended this place to meet them and not disappointed! the staff was very attentive and eating was plentiful. I thought three battery cables between three was about right. we've taken home enough for two more! the cauliflower, garnel and charcoal were the most amazing I have seen.
We were regulars for a very long time. They raised their prices after they opened after another lock down (understandable, if quantity and quality stayed the same). We were excited that they were open again and ordered our regular meals. We ordered the tap chicken sandwich (used to be 2 tenders on a bun) powerbowl salad and a side of fries. I literally couldn't see the chicken in the sandwich in most places and outside of that it was paper thin. The $8 side fries my wife got were soaked in oil/ over cooked and were basically all the left over little bits. I tried to email them first to defend themselves with no response, pretty disappointed...
