We sat on the dining side rather than the bar. Our waitress was phenomenal, very attentive, very accommodating, extremely nice. I got the cheesy creole shrimp n grits, wasn’t bad, I liked it. The one issue was the music, the kitchen is open they had some very loud head banger music goin on, which easily spilled out into the dining area. Maybe just turn it down some. My first experience with EJs was a takeout order of 4 Tender Basket and Chicken Alfredo. We got 2 meals from each one and both were delicious! The staff I interacted with were friendly and professional. Their dining area seems to be sufficient for the area. They advertise live music, but I'm not sure where the musicians would setup. Went here around 11:30AM, place was barely packed. The lady at the front said it will be couple mins- two other ladies at the register didn’t even acknowledge us and absolutely rude. After they finally put us on a table, nobody showed us to greet us or ask if we wanted anything to drink, waited about 10-15 mins respectively before we got up and left. I ain’t bothering giving this place another chance, saw another couple leave at the same time as I did too. Either work on your serving, or don’t be open for busy times like brunch.
