I meet regularly with friends for coffee or lunch. I usually have the pumpkin soup which is served with two thick slices of bread with butter. Delicious! A wood fire stove supplies heat but the atmosphere is not cosy due to the position of the restaurant. Staff are friendly and helpful. I took my grandparents to Banksia for lunch. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the menu (mainly overpriced sandwiches) and the crowded tables. Most of the patrons are elderly and it's difficult to move around as the tables are so close together.We ended up ordering scones with jam and cream which were large but undercooked and I don't think it is possible to have given us less jam or cream. Beautiful nursery with excellent collection of plants. Such a huge place in the heart of Knox City. Has a lovely coffee shop too.
