"Not a fan. This place changed owners (I think) and it is not as good now. The new owners are trying for a mix of their family ethnicities which is ok in theory but not great in practice. I believe it was the owner that greeted us, sat us, and waited on us. Service was great, no complaints there (hence the 3 stars). However, walking in we were greeted with a very strong smell of I'm not sure what incense, air freshener I don't know but it was overwhelming. In my opinion you should smell the great food walking into a restaurant, not an overwhelming scent that doesn't belong. I smelled it the entire time it was there never got used to it. The food was mediocre at best. My husband for the shrimp and grits and he was expecting some Salvadoran flair of some sort but he said it was very bland. The portion size was also small considering the price. I ordered an Italian option from the menu and chose the chicken Parmesan. It was okay but, honestly, I like my own better. Nothing special and no extras no starter salad, bread, Parmesan to add nothing but a bowl of spaghetti noodles with a piece of chicken on top. It left a lot to be desired in my opinion. Maybe just not our thing but I don't think we will be back."

"We used to love this place! We'd go there weekly if not sometimes twice a week. Their food is always good, but service is spotty. I called ahead a few days to make a reservation for a large group for my birthday and the lady ont her phone confirmed the reservation for me. When we got to the restaurant at our reservation time I was notified that they apparently do not do reservations, and they were unable to take my party at that time and didn't know who would have confirmed a reservation. I was heart broken as it was a Saturday and no other restaurants in town were able to accommodate a table of 10. The servers were unapologetic and didn't seem to care."
