Country Cafe - Wichita

Honestly, I like Country Cafe better than some national chains. Plus I am buying local. I find it impressive that you can often find the owner keeping an eye on things. I reccomend the Meat Lovers Skillet breakfast, it is a good, hearty breakfast.

This is mine and my husband's favorite little spot now. The staff is friendly, the coffee is good and it's not so commercialized that you feel like you're not eating real food. They never let us down so we try to go there for breakfast atleast once a week.

Not very pleased with the wait staff at this establishment, make a long story short, wanted a catfish meal and was told no because it during the morning hours, yet no where on the menu or in the building was it stated that you could only order breakfast foods during the early morning hours (930am) and the waitress acted as if we were asking to much of her and somewhat rude to us to at least go and ask and was told we couldn't get as requested, so we decided due to her attitude and not having the meal desired, we would go eat somewhere else, and we still had to pay nearly 8 bucks for drinks we didnt even drink but 1 or 2 sips from them!!.... We shouldnt of even had to pay for the drinks!!.... So our experience with this place was poor, but yours may be better than ours!?.?..... Who knows?...

The first time in this restaurant. I liked my breakfast and my hathbrowns, speck and eggs were cooked exactly as I ordered them. I wish my coffee had been a bit stronger. it felt like I was drinking warm water, mixed with a coffee in the warm cup h2o. service was also great!

This place is plump and very terrible customer service. the manager couldn't face his customers. manager cannot control how customers are first treated. Eating is terrible took two bites a family of 7. we have all left eating on the table. the food was cold and tasted as if it was 40 minutes before the serving. very terrible experience brought my sister in law to an early piece for her birthday. I wouldn't recommend eating at this place. it also seems that they will not be open too long. the personal had a job when they messed up the order. she went on the back and shot the plate down as if she had crushed. I wish I could have recorded this, but my phone was dead.
