What Alison likes about Mackays:
Beautiful warm room on a very cold wet weekend. Food excellent as always. Rooms: Our room had two chairs to sit on so no one had to sit on the bed to watch the TV. Seems to sum up Wick really. Tired and dated, smelt of chip fat up the stairs, small rooms, toilet dirty and hadn’t been cleaned properly, owner’s dog growled aggressively at any dog who walked in, staff weren’t massively helpful. Wick itself is a tired, desolate and forgotten place and this hotel is a fairly depressing experience. read more.
