River City Diner - Wickliffe

If the rest of the food is as good as breakfast was....Holy SMOKES! The best biscuits and gravy in western Kentucky, except for mine lol. This is a hidden jewel right across from our historic courthouse.

We stopped in for a lunch bite. My husband had something on their special board that they called goulash, but it was more like a beefaroni dish….so good. I had a wrap, also good. We were looking for a milkshake, but they don’t make them…just other homemade pies and cake. The place catered to the locals but made us feel welcome even though we were just passing thru. Very nice folks. Surprisingly good food…..get the specials!

Stopped at River City Diner for breakfast when passing through town. Service was great prompt and friendly. Great breakfast. Being vegetarian, I was happy to be able to have biscuits and gravy (gravy didn't have meat)! Prices were very fair. Nice hometown feel. Thank you!

The hamburger and French fries. Wow! This was a homemade hamburger! Well done and still juicy. It was just what we wanted.

Food was great. Still waiting to try of cheesecake. Poor service from waitress, we were lucky to get in before they closed. Love the owner. Very friendly.
