I've been to dinner with my family several times. The service is excellent and very child-friendly. The food has a high quality and has always tasted well. You feel very comfortable as all employees are very warm. We like to come back: View all feedback.
What Ellis Smith doesn't like about La Rucola:
Easy overpriced. Otherwise we were there with 5 people. The greeting of the kitchen, the appetizer dish unfortunately not as it should be. The main food is not bad, but also not overwhelming. So for us no reason to repeat. View all feedback.
I was expecting a good Italian Scallopini Marsala. My veal tasted like tough pork and was lathered in a very sweet sticky sauce that is not the Marsala cream sauce I know. The service was on the surly side with arrogant unhelpful attitude and my issue with the food was basically ignored. There are many better options in Wiesbaden.
I love this place, where you can escape from the city during the summer days, sitting on the terrace, watching Tennis Players or chatting with your friends, sipping a nice wine (why not the Arneis from Bruno Giacosa),.... But durnig the winter Season as well: sit down in the winter garden and let the Service tell you what the Chef would like to prepare for you. A large variety of Antipasti vitello tonato everytime, porcini during the Season, salads (Pulpo or just green) antipasti misto offers quite soke options. During lunch I usually go for a salad and an antipasti. And I do know that I am missing the catch of the day prepared to order, or the perfect meat,..... Of Course the waiter will offer a delicious desert as well and you should not resist (as I do mostly). The padrone (Senior or Junior) is greating you with warm words and a welcome, the Service will do everything to make your lunch (or dinner) a ice experience. The wine from the well sorted wine list will help. A really great place in Wiesbaden, located not far away from the Center surrounded by nature and a great ambience.
We went to la rucola to celebrate the day of the father because it has a good call. we waited almost hours for our main dish and the staff was very unfriendly. After we had waited forever, we got our meal times, which were all particularly disappointing.
I'm going to la rucola every now and then, as I live in meadow baths. it's always great. follow the recommended maitres and book a table on the terrace with good weather
I had expected a good Italian scallopini marsala. my calf tasted like tough pork and was lined in a very sweet sticky sauce that is not the Marsala cream sauce I know. the service was merciful with arrogant, not helpful set up and mine.
