Service was fast and our waitress was pleasant. We had the Montreal smoked meat and the Philly cheese steak. Fries are extra so we split an order which was huge and we still had some left over. Unfortunately this resteraunt has wasted my time and others that i know. They have been closed many times when they are supposed to be open. Food is about a 3 star as well. Be aware that you may waste your time driving there just to find out they are closed. Has happen to me 3 times and a friend once as well. This means many people are wasting gas that want to dine in. read more.

"I found this restaurant on Google maps while plotting our trip to Ottawa and I am so glad we decided to stop for lunch! Simply amazing food and interesting decor. Who would have thought a burger with salsa would taste a little like heaven? The home fries were yummy too and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his fish and chips.We will definitely add this place to our list of "must stop to eat" while we're out riding."

"We were pleasantly surprised! We were staying at an Air BNB nearby and for our last night we decided to try their Chinese food. I have eaten at many Chinese spots all around the GTA and I know often when there are good reviews its trash lol. Not this place. We had Singapore noodles, veg with almonds, sesame chicken. The veggies were fresh and not frozen. The chicken tasted like homemade chicken and they don't kill it with tons of breading like most places, they have more chicken then breading. I would have liked the Singapore noodles to have more things in it than bbq pork but tasted good anyways. The food was hot, fantastic serving size and good prices. As well not full of salt and MSG. Would def recommend."

"Located fairly close to our cottage we decided to try this place on a Friday night. We had hoped to have a Rib feast that evening only to find out on our arrival at six o'clock that the ribs were sold out. It was brisket sandwiches all around or nothing. We decided to go with the sandwiches which were very good but not what we had hoped for. We were informed by the owner that his ribs are very popular and you have to pre order them if you want assurance that they will be available. As other reviewers have noted this is a cash only Restaurant so plan accordingly. Although not cheap it was good so we may have to pre order the ribs next time to see if they live up to the hype. Also be sure to check out the Restaurants web site as he is only open part of the season and only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday."

"Chef Hugo was very personable, his food top grade; however, the initial reception at the resort in the lobby was less than congenial. It was in fact confusing and disorganized. Even though we had a reservation, we were told the dining room was closing at noon. Then 5 minutes later that the dining was opening at noon. Surprising since I was encouraged to come at 11:30 when I called the resort a week earlier."
