What Osbaldo Runolfsson likes about Furusato Japanese:
Honestly so good - with the price, quality and portion taken into account. This bento set costs $13 and bruh just look at the amount it's good. It's not the best jap food but come on it's great if you're not down for pricey food and would wanna fill your belly View all feedback. What George Batz doesn't like about Furusato Japanese:
Spider roll was good. Sushi rice in right texture and they made it fresh.
Karaage chicken wss not the best we've had but ok, and good value for sure.
Katsu curry was average and ramen extra ordinary.
Don't expect too high as it's your food court standard. Overall is exceptable. View all feedback.

read moreThis restaurant at Southlands shopping centre has recently reopened after renovations and offers a variety of Japanese dishes. The portions are described as massive and the fish katsu is highlighted as delicious, although some inconsistencies in the dishes are noted. The service is criticized for being slow and lacking attention to detail. Despite some average dishes, the overall consensus is that the food is acceptable for its food court standard. The prices are considered reasonable, with generous portions. The use of karage chicken instead of pork in the ramen is appreciated for catering to those who don't eat pork for religious reasons. Overall, the quality of the food is praised for being tasty and filling, making it a good option for those looking for affordable Japanese cuisine.
