I wasn't expecting much based on some reviews and the fact that there were only 2 other tables in at 6 pm .but it was convenient as I was staying here. I

Spent the night in Williams Lake at the Ramada so for breakfast I decided to eat at CarmensI had the Canadian omelette.

Great foodWe had the seafood cannelloni and it was incredible, also good as leftoversDessert was delicious and appetizers were great.

I regret going to Carmens. I ordered the 8 oz NY Strip Loin (medium rare) with roast vegetables and potatoes. What I received was an extremely poor cut of meat...

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Right next door to the Ramada Inn. Good atmosphere for relaxing after a long day. Lounge was well-stocked.

"The Bran Counter is a nice place to sit and have a coffee. Their lattes are pretty good, along with their chai and other specialty drinks. I enjoyed all the food that I purchased here as well. The cinnamon buns are flavorful, not too sweet, but a little dry. I had a great veggie panini here, and their gluten free cookies are delicious. Their muffins are on point as well. It's not a cheap place, but it also isn't expensive either. It's sort of regular coffee shop prices. I spend 7.50 on a small latte and a cinnamon bun. Both are nice sizes, so I didn't feel like I was being cheated.The people that work there are great. They make an effort to learn your name, and are always very polite. I am always greeted with a smile when I come in.There is free Wi-Fi and it doesn't get too loud, or busy, except during the lunch hour. Consequently it's a great place to get some work done. If you're stopping in Williams Lake on your way somewhere else, or coming in for a visit, I recommend you pop by the bean counter for a quick bit and coffee."

"If you ask yourself about trying out this place, do it! I was never so happy with the quality and quantity of food. I have her veggie sandwich, my friend has Bratbeef, and we couldn't stop talking about how GOOD tastes it. Nothing processed, everything fresh, I think her pimples could even be homemade. It has shaken our world. Why get a fat burger if you could have something local?"
