Loves the Spinat appetizer and soup The view was beautiful with sunset on the mountains. I wish I could go there in normal times. There were Covid restrictions...

Great pub atmosphere. The food was delicious. The device was great. The staff is friendly smiling. Many seats. The terrace is fabulous has a great view. Cheers!

Great food, drinks and service! As my coworkers said used to come here to drink and dance...now I come here to paint! Great place!

We went at lunch...it was average/good pub food, lots of choices with big portions. Why I gave it 4 stars was because it was very busy and the server was AMAZIN...

"BEST PIZZA EVER!!. I went to the Golden location. Out of every pizza I have ever had, this place is my new favorite! I wish I was local! We tried the deluxe hawaiian, and the crazy canuck, with the crispy pan fried crust. SOOOOOO GOOD!!!!"

"I went there twice during my stay in Williams lake, and all I can say is the place was average, and in some cases below average. The first time I went there it wad just for drinks with about 9 other people. I ordered a simple drink with gin, and it was ridiculously watered down. You couldn't taste the alcohol at all. I was not impressed, nor were my friends who also had less than good drinks. Not only that, but the waitress was very rude to us. It wasn't a great first impression to say the least. The second time we went there it was for dinner. It was a smaller group, 5 of us. I ordered a veggie burger and it wasn't good at all. It was bland and just tasted like a packaged burger. The fries were good though. We went on wing wednesday, and the wings weren't very good either. On the plus side, we had a different waitress that time, and she was great.I would say that at best the place is average."

"A very lively, welcoming amazement perfect for a lunch or dinner date. The premium rice really uses the sushi to a different level, and I recommend a lot of their little menu to try how you can."

"I always get the impression Williams Lake doesn’t care for outsiders, like it keeps all its best aspects close to the metaphorical chest. Maybe this is due to how the highway snakes through the city, on the outer edge, taking a sharp turn away from the city’s heart. It reminded me of that town in First Blood, the one drifters are ushered through in the back of police cruisers. “You're asking for trouble around here, friend.” . It could and probably does have some of the best restaurants to be found between destinations, but tourists would never know about it. Normally, I would carry right on through, but now I have friends here. And atop of a very short list, we found the New World Coffee and Tea House. This adorable little café would be easy to miss…if it was located in Mexico. In a small town in Canada, it stands out a tad. Outside, green folding chairs and white-painted iron gates, inside an onslaught of lime green paint and stained wood. Local teas—at least assumed local—lined one wall. Unlike most cafes, where orders are taken from a chalkboard, New World offered a menu, and it became one of those rare moments where I paused to enjoy reading one. Nothing posh or condescending, charmingly humorous, the selection is extensive, offering enough to satisfy literally anyone. Sixty flavors of tea--and I believe the claim—are flanked with coffees, smoothies, and Italian soda. For meals, you have buns, baps, baguettes or bagels, stuffed with chicken, cheese, and…umm…chut…ney sorry, ran out of ideas there . All the options fall under being “meat things” or “no-meat things”, and I’m not being flippant, they’re actually listed on the menu as that. Each item ordered was delivered with considerable attention. Mine was a turkey and cranberry paninis with daily soup; the girlfriend’s was a Caesar chickened out wrap get the joke?! . Both were fantastic, though actually surpassed by the hot chocolate my girlfriend added, foamed with veins of cream and chocolate running down the glass. If this were dinner, I would have scored one of those amazing looking cheesecakes. One issue I’ve noticed about Trip Advisor, one of its biggest flaws unfortunately is that user reviews are skewed towards cafes and lunch stops. A posh restaurant, no matter how good, never rates as high as an inexpensive though praiseworthy corner-street café. But in this case, if the New World Coffee Tea House is the best café William’s Lake has to offer, than I am truly curious what others treasures are lurking about. In a larger town, I would see it still within the top ten. So many cafes in my town shortchange on some aspect, whether it be in décor, selection, quality food, or simple pricing. Being in a town of 11,000 people certainly hasn’t given the owners of New World Coffee Tea House a pass. I’m starting to see a trend where the best cafes are nestled in the smaller towns. It’s rather counter intuitive, and from my eloquent and experienced critical viewpoint, as one living in a larger city, that’s the stinkiest poop ever to come out of a butt. I’m sorry, that was improper of me. The point is, I will no longer—placing hand atop and swearing on my Dungeons Dragons Player’s Handbook—pass through the town of Williams Lake without stopping. I will stop, find a place to eat, and reach my destination 90 minutes later, because this place is worth it."

"A friendly, family run restaurant that prepares Japanese food for the unadventurous. The buffet has a large enough selection of tempura, noodle and rice rolls to satisfy a cautious appetite. Don't go there expecting interesting fresh sashimi or sushi. There is Japanese beer available and the food is fresh."

"Had an amazing Valentine's Day dinner here where she offered a great 3 course meal for a good price! We had a great server that was friendly and often checked, the atmosphere was great and dinner was great. I like my steak boiled medium rarely, and usually I ask for a rare, as most places give me a medium rarely, but I took the shot and delivered it! Thank you for a wonderful time Mr.Mikes!"
