"The Bran Counter is a nice place to sit and have a coffee. Their lattes are pretty good, along with their chai and other specialty drinks. I enjoyed all the food that I purchased here as well. The cinnamon buns are flavorful, not too sweet, but a little dry. I had a great veggie panini here, and their gluten free cookies are delicious. Their muffins are on point as well. It's not a cheap place, but it also isn't expensive either. It's sort of regular coffee shop prices. I spend 7.50 on a small latte and a cinnamon bun. Both are nice sizes, so I didn't feel like I was being cheated.The people that work there are great. They make an effort to learn your name, and are always very polite. I am always greeted with a smile when I come in.There is free Wi-Fi and it doesn't get too loud, or busy, except during the lunch hour. Consequently it's a great place to get some work done. If you're stopping in Williams Lake on your way somewhere else, or coming in for a visit, I recommend you pop by the bean counter for a quick bit and coffee."

"Friendly staff serving overpriced prepacked meals. reheated bad quality foods that are usually too salty and much overpriced. this is my criticism at the boston pizza franchise in general. if they are familiar with bp, they will not find any surprises here. that means the local staff is friendly and I had no complaints with the service. I have eaten here several times while I stayed in the connected coast hotel from comfort (mostly on cheap pasta nights) and it was regretted every time. there are few options in williams lake for late night or family food, but I suggest giving the other one a shot before they return to bp."
