The fish we had was fresh and most importantly was not soggy...a real winner for us. The chips were cooked brilliantly and were crispy with just the right amount of salt. Take them down to the pier and enjoy the view of Melbourne and Hobsons Bay View all feedback.

Bought a lot of fish and Chips; so much so we needed an empty Box from the shop. The box was to the Chips they use; ingredients included the oldest, most unhealthy, most abominably derived cheap tasty chips trick. I'll let you guess but to give you an idea; look up what rendered animal fat is.It's a cop out and really annoyed me that I found this out after I had eaten the crap as I was breaking down the box to recycl... Great quality. The flake was awesome. Good price. Even let us use their toilet. Recommend them to everybody.
So, there is a reason why Hobsons Bay Fish and Chip shop is still running strong after so many years while others have come and gone. They place is always busy...
