This is a very unassuming local restaurant, we have been here many times and the food is consistently good and reasonably priced to boot. The decor is very traditional but the staff are great and the selection on the menu will suit anyone who like Japanese food. Can highly recommend this restaurant. Food was ok although hardly memorable. The cuttlefish balls lacked density and flavour and I found the beef and ginger dish a bit heavy with the salty sauce. Service and atmosphere needs to liven up, the staff didn't make us feel very welcome, they needed to be asked to come to the table to help and there needs to be some background music or effort to take the edge off the kitchen noise. read more.
