"Over priced compared to other unique fine dining experiences in SA.. Having to pay reservation fee not expected at many other SA more exceptional dining experiences. Service was not as good as expected. Some of the extra costs etc on the menu were not explained. Think you can find better value for money."

"I had the deep fried Mars bar and the turtle soup. My mother had the crab shell and chicken feet. Both on the specials board as it was for Tet (Vietnamese holiday). Was oddly great. Although, next time I'll get the lobster Thermidor"

"An exceptional fine dining experience from beginning to end. Hats off to the chefs for taste, quality ingredients and specifically the presentation. We also opted for the wine pairing with our degustation. The wine pairings went well with our meals, however we would’ve loved to learn more about the history and tasting notes. Unfortunately due to restrictions being implemented the night before our visit and not to cancel guests bookings, all seatings were reduced to 2 hours with a reduced menu. As a result, we were more tipsy than full by the end of the meal but understandably, Maxwell did what they could given the circumstances. We definitely are keen to go back for the full experience."

"Great location in Wiillunga near the Alma Hotel. Very good pizzas and also worth trying the panini for lunch. Open 7 days until at least 8.30pm. $15 corkage is too high given a small wine list."
